Biography
You woke up and found a little bird snack waiting in front of your nose. Dappled Clay is resting nearby, with a little smile on her face.
Dappled Clay watches you approach and sighs a little. She licks her paw and pretends to ignore you.
You approached Dappled Clay to groom her, but she just sort of stared at you. She then shuffled awkwardly a bit before going to lay down in her usual spot.

Dappled Clay originally joined the pride purely for protection when she was an adolescent. If it weren't for how dangerous the world was, she would have happily been on her own forever after being left behind by her first pride. She was found by Queen Lalamika Burning Rose on the outskirts of the pride's lands; Dappled Clay was impressed by her forwardness and strength. She asked if she could join her, and she was brought back to camp.
There was a debate between King Ashura and his defender Queen on whether or not she would be made a huntress or defender because she was equally lean and muscular. The pride was in need of both positions equally. "If she joins us for protection, then she will learn how to fight." Queen Lalamika got the last word in that conversation.
Dappled Clay still was rather distant from her pridemates, but she eventually felt comfortable enough to occasionally share meals or spend quality time with her fellow defenders. She can often be found laying near the watering hole when she isn't busy.
