Frostina

Frost wasn't the smartest cub, walking into the freezing cold smiling down at the snow. She didn't even feel as the cold seeped into her paws and left them frostbitten. Her parents sighed and left her behind. Amberfall looked at them with astonishment, watching as the cub was left behind at the tree where all cubs were abandoned. He rushed over to her and wrapped her in a warm blanket, but he was too late her paws would always be frostbitten but she knew that she was loved and that was all that mattered. She would watch the sun rise and the snow fall and wait until the day came when she would be old enough to lay in the snow and just breathe.
