Demakezi, The Insect Princess Treasurer of Oddities Lionesses who are in charge of caring for and preserving the strange currency found by the King during certain months. Some of these oddities are live insects that seem to never perish despite the passing of time, others are heavenly feathers at risk of floating away by the breeze. Treasurers are still huntresses, however, provided there are other Treasurers who can fill in their absence. 🐛 Personality Bug enthusiast, Demakezi is insanely proud and adventurous, surpassing her father in ways that make him proud. Not only does she appreciate the differences in lions and creatures alike, she works to ensure that those differences are celebrated. 🐛 Lore Born from Ouchi and King Vlinoric, Demakezi was born on an insanely hot day in a cool Murr Hole. Many remarked how close to the king she looked by the time she was a few months old. By the time she nearly a year old, the cub had already annoyed Vlinoric plenty. In one instance, the cub had snuck off to the Black Market and bought many battle beetle larvae, screaming excitedly once she returned to the pride. Vlinoric noted how he was a few Rhino Beetles short after that. Since then, Demakezi has shown an extreme fascination towards insects. Whenever she wasn't hanging out with her father, she was surrounding herself with the simple creatures. Of course, this made her a target to the other cubs who sent jabs her way, but Demakezi seemed to never care. During this time, Demakezi became close friends with Corifev and Kais Makyr. The three of them became inseparable, often trying to dissuade and speak to King Vlinoric together. The pride knows the three as forces to be reckoned with.
