It takes Eir a while to make her move, having decided to take things nice and easy, but she got it done eventually and without even unnecessarily stressing the poor critter out. Remembering her mother's wise words of "slow and steady wins the race", Eir figured it's even better advice for climbing so she takes her time to carefully and securely hoist herself up the tree. Approaching the race with a clear head and some foresight, Eir won the race easily enough after having taken the time to figure out the best way to run the course. Eir saw that the small animal was getting upset and scared so she plopped her butt down and let it escape, feeling fine with a loss especially in a situation like this.
