I chase my sibling viciously.I eye her and prepare to pounce,but I get slammed into by MIrage.
“HEY!Not fair!” I hiss.
Mirage slams Starshine down.She mewls sadly.I smack mirage with my tail and huff.
My mom flicks her tail.She was signaling to me and my sister to come.we pad close and flop our ears.Fog grabs me and mom grabs starshine.I try to escape ,but I can’t.Trough the hot savana we go...Fog slams me to the ground and a vulture investigates me.”healthy.” He says,passing to my sibling.
Mom takes me to the side .
“What’s going on?” I ask.
“You were checked for mutations...you don’t have any.but you may get a mutation applied soon...”She says sweetly.She grabs me and puts a clothe on me.I look preety :3
A baby croc latches onto me when we stop to drink water in a swamp.it seems friendly,so I take him home.
After that I don’t see mirage at all.

I look out the den.my mom is sleeping so I go to starshine.
“Do you want to sneak out?” I whisper to her
She nods so we go out the back way.We see mirage peeking into the den.
We call to her and she drops on her back.
“Oh!KAMARU!STARSHINEE!” She shouts.
“Hey,wanna sneak out?” Says my sister.
I run after her,liking the idea.Mirage follows behind .
I enter the hyena lands and get attacked.my shoulder and hind leg are badly scarred.i faint.when I wake up,I see my mom sobbing.
“I’m ok!” I say weakly.

I jump on my feet and grab a bucket.
After walking in the puddles and rain for hours,blindly in the night I trip in the lake.”thankfully it’s just a little water in the shore “ I think.then I remembered....it was wet season.I take a deep breath and when I wake up I see a teen lion above me.His mane shines in the moonlight...I am pinned under his heavy paw.He turns me around and grabs my scruff and runs with me deep into the woods.A scarred lion with a white eye,huge,heavy mane and bulky body shows up.
I try to escape,but I’m too weak.
“You brought her?” He says.
The adolescent nods and drops me.
“Good.throw her next to the other ones.” He says and the adol picks me up and throws me in a cave with 2 other familiar looking cubs.

I was picked up by Lakimari.He was taking me to “the torture clearing” .I sigh and whimper,then I get smacked and dropped to the ground.When I wake up I’m back home.I’m safe.Kassia was crying,holding a living,crying cub and a dead one.Wow...I got what happened by the blood on Fog’s muzzle.

We have a new friend.Her name is oak-ling.Sadly,she’ll only stay for 3 months.She’s 2 months older than us.Speaking of age,we are now weaned!We can stray away from our mom’s for long times and are able to eat normal food!Hah,nice.
We are waiting on the hill for oak-ling.We see her and run towards her,tackling her.

“Marula fruit” my sister says,backing off a little.
I look at fog/misti talking to ...V’KAI!i snatch the marula fruit from Oak-Ling and run towards them .I drop the fruit .Tastes awful.Fog/misti looks at oak-ling shaking his head.
“It’s ok,oak!” Says Mirage.
“Yeah,let’s go to the lake!” I say
“Hm-maybe tommorow “ she says

I wait at Oak-ling’s cave entrance.She ran out of her cave exited.
“Hey oak!Where to?” I say.
“You don’t know!?” She replied?
I shake my head.
“Fog/Misti is training us today!” She says.
“Woah!I haven’t trained in ages!I’ll go bring star shine and Mirage!” I say.
I run back to our cave to drag Starshine along and then to bloom’s cave to tag along Mirage.
When we return we see Oak-ling chatting with a new cub.
“This is kitaria!” Oak says
“Hello kitaria!” My sister says.
“Hi!” Kitaria says.
Fog then picks me to go chasing.I chase after some boys in our pride and then I see starling,the heir .I chase after him in the outskirts while he runs screaming.
After that,me and the squad go to the lake and splash each other.My mom looks at us for 2 minutes before chuckling and going away.

Mom grabs me and my sister,then runs as fast as she can .We look down.Everything is flooding .We reach the bottom of a mountain and we see oak jump up.Mom follows.After hours,we get to the top of the mountain,laying in the open.Fog checks us.6 cubs didn’t make it...
Then,he goes to explore for a cave.

It has been many months since our pride moved and...many of my friends died.Me and my sister were now adults,and so we’re mirage and oak!And our moms had more cubs,our baby sisters! ...But something was wrong... I was taking my morning stroll when I noticed oak ling leaving with a lion.I run up to her as fast as I could but...It was too late.She was gone.My best friend was gone.In hysterics,I run back to my and my sister’s den.She stares worriedly at me before screaming something inaudible.I had collapsed to the ground while everything around me went static.
Later that day,I was agressiveky grabbed by misti and pushed out of my cave while my family and my friend’s one followed.We were greeted by a stunning lioness.
“Hi!my name is-“ she began,until misti cut her off.
“No need for introductions.” She snarled. “Just take them.”
