Mist kneads at the ground anxiously, ever since she returned to the cave all the other lionesses have been curious to where Cheetu took her when she finally had her first heat in his pride, and the threat he gave her before they return had her keep quiet ever since. She knew that Cheetu had high expectations of her future cubs and prayed to any god that might be listening to bless her cub so that it would meet any of the strange standards that the secretly wicked pride leader had. The last thing she wanted to witness was his threat coming to fruition. Her pridemate Hibi always got personal visits from the leader, probably cause she was bred personally by him during her last heat, she always sung praises about how sweet her was and how much he seemed to care. Mist could only bite her tongue as a cruel smile full of razor sharp teeth greet her every time she closes her eyes. Please please PLEASE let her cub survive this cruel lion's claws, she doesn't know what she will do if her baby is taken from her right after all the effort that went into creating it.
