The aging broodmother patrolled the cave, whispering comforting words to the pregnant lionesses who didn't look happy or seemed nervous about birthing cubs to their evil and selfish king. Once she saw that everyone was tended to she headed outside and laid on the grass just in front of the cave's entrance. Turning her mist colored eyes up towards the night sky they became filled with grief and sorrow. "We were supposed to be in the elders cave together but fate has been cruel and taken you from us too soon. In the near future though we will be reunited, my love. And together we will do our best to look after our pride mates from the stars and continue to give them hope of a brighter future."
