9/11/2020: Captain Sisko II arrives on the border of the Wakanda territory unannounced and he is greeted with great hostility by the resident lionesses and border guards. He waits there silently, just across the official boundary of their territory. It isn't until Dovahnor arrives that he begins to speak. He states stoically that he had intercepted one Dovahnor's messenger birds that she had sent out. The bird had told him of the lionesses she sought and he motions behind him with a half-raised paw. Another male lion departs from his hiding place between marsh undergrowth and some trees. Trailing behind him two cubs. Captain Sisko II jerks his head in their direction and continues to speak. "They can be yours, for a price." He states, short and simple. Dovahnor examines the cubs from afar, taking in the markings and health.

"Name it." She stares at him trying to conceal how agitated she truly was at the sight of two grown males so close to her territory.

"15 Golden Beetles, each." He replied.

"22 for both of them." Dovahnor offered. He squinted in thought and then nodded in agreement before pushing both cubs across the border. Vasha, her son, and Koman her stepdaughter take the cubs by the scruff as V'Kaia drops the Golden Beetles off for the other king. He bows and departs, but just as he's about to leave her hearing range, he releases a deep sigh of relief. Something felt off about this transaction, but Dovahnor was distracted by how happy the cubs would make her queen.

9/13/2020: Two months after their arrival and Dovahnor now understands Captain Sisko's relief at the riddance of these cubs. It took the pride of about a month to start discovering the mutilated corpses of small animals around their territory. They at first suspected maybe a leopard had been stashing its meals improperly and they were falling out of trees, but the animals they found were too small for a leopard to bother with. The pride was absolutely puzzled until Koman watches Yahya catch a dragonfly. The half princess thought nothing of it at first and was about to leave until she saw Yahya begin ripping off the wings to the dragonfly all the while it was still alive. This disturbed her greatly and she immediately reported it to the king.
