Key Lime Pie

“Come on, slowpoke!” Key Lime Pie growled.
“Sorry...” Isabelle murmured and dashed up to the green lioness.

They walked through spooky woods. The trees bare and fog thick. Cracked tombstones were lined up on all sides. A path led to an abandoned house.

“Are you sure we should do this?” Isabelle said. She wasn’t a big fan of the idea of visiting this house.
“Why, are you a scaredy cat?” Key Lime Pie snickered.
“N-no! It’s just...”

“Your scared! Come on, it’s just an abandoned house. There’s no humans, no nothing. Expect maybe ghost.”
Isabelle swallowed. “G-ghost...?” She whispered. She then shook her head. “I’m not scared, Key Lime... it’s just. Well. With Zote dead, there’s been more responsibility. All the cubs are sad. Every lion in the pride is. Especially Penelope! And-“

Key Lime rolled her eyes. “Penelope will be dead soon anyway. Don’t worry, She’ll be with him sooner or later. She’s ancient!”

Isabelle gasped. “Don’t speak that way about her! She’s done so much for the pride... and it’s not just the pride being sad. We have duties to do! The clan is low on food. We should be hunting.”

“Well.” Key Lime Pie flicked her tail. “We’re here already. And you agreed to come with me. Let’s go!” She entered the house.

“O-oh okay... yay...! I guess...” Isabelle said. And together they ran inside the haunted house.
