Theme Song: Diana, Scorn of the Moon
"Wherever I go, you are never far behind." - Diana
"When night falls, I know that you are with me." - Leona
☾
Ask not the sun why she sets,
Why she shrouds her light away.
Or why she hides her glowing gaze,
When night turns crimson gold to grey...

The concept of aspects were still new to the pride when Leona and Diana shattered the rules put in place by the pride's ancestors. Unlike Leona, however, Diana is not a true aspect- not in her own right.
While the presence of Leona in the pride still broke the rules set in place by the ancestors- that only one aspect could be present at a time- there was a rule not even the ancestors were aware of. That some aspects came as two halves of a whole. Where Leona could shine brightly by herself, she would shine even brighter in the presence of her other half.
Her other half is Diana.
While Leona is the aspect of the celestial sun of protection and duty, the celestial power granted to her was an aspect of the soul of the sun- and the heart of an ancient order of knights known as the Solari. So as the sun rises, her lover, the moon, is always there. The legends say that the Solari and the Lunari, another order, were constantly at odds, but that the two warriors- Leona, of the Solari, and Diana, of the Lunari- were always drawn together by a love that would eventually surpass the rivarly between their orders. As a result, the two aspects will always be drawn to one another. At least, that is how both the pride and their ancestors have come to understand this fluke.
Additionally, there would never be a repeat of these aspects, for they would be granted immortality, since, technically, they were the only true aspects- the embodiements of ageless spirits. Others would come, and live, and die, and be the focus of the pride's worship- but the fates saw it fit to finally allow two souls the love they deserved.
