Yet another Prideless lioness who joined the Pride amicably, although she was seen as someone whom Smokymane still hardly knows. She keeps secrets, whether it be for the protection of her Pride or her own selfish means. Her father and mother, who she lived with until Smokymane, named her after the white freckles on her pelt. To them, it looked like she was kissed by Asra.

Her father died when she was still learning to hunt in a devastating accident involving a hippo. Her mother and Star were left alone on the Stretch, wandering aimlessly until Smokymane arrived. Her mother begged her to join his Pride, the Lionesses were growing tired. Star reluctantly agreed, bidding her mother farewell, although Smokymane promised as long as the mother stayed on the outskirts of the pride she will always remain well-fed by them.
