Artemis, the sister of Vaughn, and one of the best hunters that the pride has ever seen isn’t recognized for her skills. Instead, she is seen as a lesser being than her sister, who is exactly the same age as her. Despite excelling in hunting, she is always ignored, her sister taking all of the spotlight. She couldn’t blame the lions, for Vaughn was a hybrid, but so was she. How could that have been fair to her, when all she did was try her best? She had watched her sister get all of the things that she wanted all the time. Never once did someone stop to ask her what she wanted, and because of this, she provided for herself. She would hunt for herself and take care of herself in the best way that she could, even if it wasn’t always good for her or the lions around her. Despite not having the same privileges as her sister, she never took this to heart. What would be the point of being jealous when you didn’t even care for half of the things that she got? Artemis always knew that she was different, she wasn’t going to be a princess or perhaps a queen, for that wasn’t what she wanted. She wanted to be seen as Artemis; one of the finest hunters and someone who cared so much that it hurt.

Flavour texts:
After instructing your lionesses to go out on a hunt, Panpas walked up to you and looked offended at your inability to hunt your own meal. You explained that the females of the pride are the ones who kill prey and provide for the pride. Panpas turns up her nose and struts away, muttering under her breath about "useless males" and "outdated societal norms". What?
Panpas noticed your mane was looking a bit dirty and tangled, so she offered to groom it for you. You quickly declined, saying you'll take care of it later on your own. You still had a bald spot from the last time Panpas cleaned you with their barbed tongue.
As you walk into her sight, Panpas proudly gets up to strut in front of you, showing off her sleek fur.
While you were trying to enjoy a nap, ᴀʀᴛᴇᴍɪs bounced around excitedly, asking you to take her on an adventure. You growled at her to let you sleep for a couple more hours, to which ᴀʀᴛᴇᴍɪs huffed and mumbled something about how lazy lions are. You would have batted at her, if you weren't so tired.
