Chestnut came to the pride as a year-old adolescent. Accepted in with open claws she hadn’t grown her large teeth yet or the reaction could’ve been different. Kaia quickly took this female under her claw when she saw the teeth start to grow and would protect chestnut from any harm. Kaia is a motherly figure for the primal fanged female and the only lioness that helps chestnut care for the teeth due to them getting caught on meat often. Chestnut along with the other mutations of Aussies pride have a silent agreement that if Kaia ever needed aid they would protect her. No matter which side they laid on. Over time with pride she has collected bones from prey and made them into armor to decorate her scars which she got during harsh pieces of training Aussie would force on the abnormal in the pride.
