When Grandpaw Caradoc the Fatherly spots Cub sulking after they were left out of games, he saunters over and sits down next to them. No words pass between Grandpaw and grandcub, but they seem to have a moment of understanding with each other. (Sure, right after birth...)
Grandpaw Caradoc the Fatherly coves over and lays down next to CubRosette, flicking their tail over to draw the attention of the wild cub. Grandpaw Caradoc the Fatherly continues, giving the rest of the pride some time off from entertaining CubRosette.
Poor old Grandpaw Caradoc the Fatherly was resting away from the cubs for a reason today, but that didn't stop Rosetta from bounding over and bumping their Grandpaw's chin with the top of their head in adoration before scarpering off. Grandpaw Caradoc the Fatherly stares after them as they scamper away, but whatever he wanted to say isn't spoken.
Approaching the race with a clear head and some foresight, Rosetta won the race easily enough after having taken the time to figure out the best way to run the course. +4% training experience! It takes Rosetta a while to make her move, having decided to take things nice and easy, but she got it done eventually and without even unnecessarily stressing the poor critter out. +3% training experience!

Although she got off to a great start, Rosetta didn't quite lift her paw up high enough and managed to snap a small twig. The rat was instantly alerted and off it ran. She was a little disappointed in herself, but she was able to shrug it off.
Grandpaw Caradoc the Fatherly takes Rosetta aside and gives them pointers on everything they failed today. Although Rosetta shrinks back in shame, they beg you for another chance.
You can't even relax for a minute without Rosetta climbing all over you, nipping and pulling at your ears.

Remembering her mother's wise words of "slow and steady wins the race", Rosetta figured it's even better advice for climbing so she takes her time to carefully and securely hoist herself up the tree. +3% training experience! Despite her best efforts, Rosetta loses to her opponent who was just too fast for her. She said that it's okay though and that her opponent did a really good job. Taking her time, Rosetta is able to silently creep real close up to the rat before she lazily lifted a paw to poke it in the butt as her way of "catching" it. +4% training experience! Rosetta's hind claws slipped half way up the tree, causing her to lose her grip and fall down. She's a little sore now, but she insists that it's okay and that she'll learn from her mistake.
