Story: Lakshmi is a well mannered, soft tempered lioness with a great sense of responsibility. Her role in the pride is to preserve the religion of Sundown and help lead yearly ceremonies. She also leads the burial or sending off of a body once a lion has passed away. She is quite old, compared to the other lionesses, but remains a kind presence that anyone can depend on. In her youth, Lakshmi was smitten with King Cyi. Her heart nearly shattered when the King returned with his new queen, Artic. After some frustration and a heavy heart, Lakshmi got over her crush and began to accept the way things were. Soon enough, King Cyi appointed her as priest of the tribe, naming her responsibility in hunting, and in educating lions on the Divine Order of life. Honored to receive the title, Lakshmi adapted into the role quickly. She is revered for her deep meditative practices, bestowing's of blessings by the kings of the past, and rituals which light up the night sky. Throughout all of this, Lakshmi and the king spent one winter night together. It was her duty, and perhaps, one of her greatest honors. She smiled a smile which warmed their hearts through the night. Soon, she gave birth to her daughter, a small blue cub named Lyra. Lakshmi couldn't be any happier. She spends a lot of her time on the snowy cliffside of Sundown Rock, enjoying the radiance of the sun. Some say she even speaks to the Kings of Old..
