Found as a young lioness by the Giving Tree, Dandy Mane adopted Swift Runner into his pride. She's a cold one. Swift Runner has an unforgiving personality and enjoys tormenting others in the pride, including Dandy Mane and the sub males. Despite this, she secretly enjoys the company of her friends like Bold Chaser and Cold Killer, her closest friends. She also adores Dandy Mane, but shows it in the form of bullying him.
When Swift Runner first had to take her hunting exams to earn her name and role in the pride, she was simply referred to as "Sister" by the others in the pride. Despite being a weak cub, she was able to prove she was agile and had good stamina. Because of her talent for being able to keep up with the sharp turns of even the most agile of prey like Impala, she earned the name, "Swift Runner," by Dandy Mane and Bold Chaser's choice. Now, she is one of the highest rank lionesses in the pride and is respected by all. Swift Runner won't hesitate to abuse her role whenever someone annoys her, so it's best not to get on her bad side.
Since the passing of Malika, (Queen Bold Chaser,) Swift Runner ascended to the role of Pride Queen after Cold Killer denied the role. Now, Swift Runner has the highest authority next to the king, and she has mellowed out quite a bit after taking the role. Still, Swift Runner will torment lower ranks of the pride but won't hesitate to step in when others are fighting or defying the king. However, the pride lionesses have stopped hunting as frequently thanks to Swift Runner being a bit lazy. Although some lionesses still hunt when not being told to, what they bring back is not enough to feed a pride of over thirty members. And so, Wise Pounce and Cold Killer had to talk some sense into Swift. Once she got her act together, her and her friends began hunting the best prey they could for the pride, and Swift Runner began commanding other hunting teams to go out and hunt for the pride. Now, things seem to be stabilizing in the pride once more.
