She listens attentively as you tell her how things went. When you approach, Sunset walks towards you to graze her side against yours, before starting to pounce on grasshoppers. She's lived through 3 kings. ----------------- Sunset would overlook the pride as cubs played in the dry plains that she had once lived in. Her bones creaked just as they had before she had gotten a taste of that damned jellyfish, but she ached for activity. She'd force herself onto her tired, calloused paws, taking a few laboured steps to the writhing bundles of fur. The cubs would surround her, excitedly bouncing and demanding they play with her. She'd let out a hearty laugh, giving in, laying down in surrender and allowing the many cubs to tackle and eventually dogpile her. She missed her father, sure, her newfound immortality being both a blessing and a curse, her body begging to die despite it, but being able to see her descendants and distant kin thrive was worth the pain and isolation.
