Danai

Although her dark fur is seemingly threatening upon first looking at her, the lightness and kindness in her eyes when she spoke was instantly comforting. She was always checking in on others in the pride, trying her best as a young lioness to carry her weight. She walked from den to den, specifically the dens with senior lionesses and nursing lionesses, asking if there was anything they needed and retrieving it for them if there was. After making a couple trips, she comes to you, visibly exhausted from over working. She dipped her head to you before she spoke. "Is there anything you need? food? water? any herbs or medicine you might need?" her voice sounded sweet, but strained. You look at her with a soft smile. "I think i'm alright," you chuckled "but I think you should rest, Danai." She looked a bit flustered. "I would, but I need to make sure that everyone-" You gesture with a flick of your tail to all the lionesses in the area, all who are either resting or using what Danai brought for them earlier. "I think that you got to everyone." She glances around, nervously flicking her tail as she looks over all the lionesses you gestured to, her eyes frantically glancing back and forth. "Danai." She looks back up at you. "mhm?" "It's time to take care of you, dear." Before she can come up with a rebuttal, you guide her to a shady spot outside and instruct her to lie down and rest her paws. She obeys, and lies down. You leave to bring her back something for her to eat, but when you get back to her she's already fallen asleep. You smile to yourself, leaving the food next to her.
