Jacques wrestled briefly with his pride mate until he had her pinned and then began to groom her face, much to his pride mates chargin.

Just when you thought you were safe, Jacques stalked you down in the middle of your evening patrol and demanded that you let him groom away that cowlick in your mane, all in the name of "training". Sigh.

Sneakily, Jacques pounced on his pridemate to initiate a surprise grooming session.

Jacques initiated a race with his mother and won - his self-proposed reward was an hour of cuddles.

Jacques wanted to play "Lion, Lion, Hyena!" with their siblings today, but they were pushed out of the group and teased for being a little crycub. Corvak was about to go over and see if they were okay when Grandpaw Damian🌸 arrived, telling the little cub not to mind the others too much, and that he would be happy to play instead. Brightening up immediately, Jacques clambers up onto the great lion's back and the two go off to play elsewhere, while Grandpaw Damian🌸 tells an interesting story about meeting a lion called Apedemak... or was that Apollyon?

Jacques noticed Corvaks mane was looking a bit dirty and tangled, so he offered to groom it for him. He quickly declined, saying he’d take care of it later on his own. He still had a bald spot from the last time Jacques cleaned him with their barbed tongue.
