Snow's eyes widened, and she blinked. "Me...? You want me to be..the Eternal Winter?" The tigon's eyes widened. She was both overjoyed and terrified at the same time. It was all so confusing- and sudden. The queen nodded. "You, my child. You've shown strength. You've shown intelligence. You've shown courage, and energy, and tolerance. That's what we want. That's what we need." The hybrid paused, thinking. "Alright." Loki smiled. "Come. I'll take you to The River."
"So you're sure this won't kill me, right?" The queen laughed. "Why would I be bringing you here if it would?" Snow studied the water. The pride's leader was right- the frozen water seemed to shimmer, and it looked almost inviting. The tigon took a deep breath, slowly putting each paw on the water. When the last one touched the ice, she could feel something shudder through her. She felt younger, healthier, smarter, bolder, and stronger, among many other things. "Huh. Guess that did work."

Snow, you were my early Christmas gift. I got you on Christmas Eve, while I was quite angry at something. Our pride loves you, you're the cutest little snow angel I've ever seen!
