When one of the patrol males, Cream & Sugar, saw her state of exhaustion and hunger, he invited her to dinner. It was odd, and a little scary, seeing a lion wearing his own kind: but she was hungry, and agreed. Of course, Cream & Sugar thus got the brunt of the king's anger, having to practically beg to keep Iris within the pride. The male gave Iris a flower necklace as well, a goodbye gift since he would have to send her away so abruptly.
