Carnelian, the strong and steady, the quick-witted, ready to strike with no remorse. From her adolescent days, her pride knew she would grow into something special, and that she has. Supervising her pride's hunts, she has provided a surplus of food that provides not only full bellies, but also an excess of goods for trade. Lover of lionesses, to which she is gentle and kind, Carnelian is a well-loved member of her pride. She commands respect, and her peers offer it to her graciously.

Ever-alert, when Carnelian herself isn't out leading a hunting party-- which she tends to quite often-- she will typically be one of the first to spot a stranger on the horizon. Though she is curt, she is not cruel, and will offer politeness and respect to passerby when appropriate. Though much of her time is spent roaming the plains to track down the pride's next meal, she has plenty of downtime to lounge beneath the acacia's shade, often with another lioness splayed out beside her. Beloved and content, she watches the stars with eyes keen and sharp.
