In the distance, the vague shape of... a tiny little cat begun to press through the intensifying ripples. Infinity seemed to catch itself on the cat's little pelt like honey, appearing to tug on their fur- before ultimately bouncing back into its paradoxical state. It was difficult to make out- but as they rose, the distant figure curved and bent, rocking their head a little too harshly to the left- twisting their neck a little too far in the opposite direction. One by one, they extended each of their legs to its full capacity, slowly twisting them as if to check for their own pads.
Then, they began to approach.
Step by meandering step, as the cat drew closer- their features begun to become uncomfortably apparent. At least as far as the medicine cats could tell, this was just a kitten. A tiny, wobbling kitten. She hadn't even opened her eyes. Though she were certainly coming to her destination, there was something about the way that the kitten moved-- as though her tiny, weak legs were taut by invisible strings, barely able to clamber in her intended direction. As she moved, her head tipped and bobbed, swaying with the unsteady motion of her walk.
On her face, rested a gentle smile that did not shift- even as she opened her mouth to tut.
