Osir-maahes has come to the pride, but does not claim mortality. He claims to be Maahes, whose name means "he who is true beside her". He is the son of the Creator god Ptah, as well as the feline goddess known by the name Bast whose nature he shared. Osir-maahes is a god associated with war, protection, and weather, as well as that of knives, lotuses, and devouring captives. He is not as bloodthirsty as his aunt-mother Sekhmet who embodies rage and bloodlust, but he is definitely now small part aggressive. White lotus grow on his pelt, and he bares a white veil which hides his fierce and fiery eyes. He bares a lot of the power of his mother, but is certainly less expert at controlling his power. It is his sacred duty to protect Ra from Apep during his nightly voyage through the depths. Osir-maahes is living in the Temple of Leontopolis where his cult still remains. Near his temple sits the pride led by the Pharaoh Narmer Menes, whom he has befriended. He wishes nothing but to please and honor his family and continue to defend Ra from Apep as is his duty.
