Kichea stares at you as you walk by, narrowing her eyes. You've heard from the other pride members that the most recent King died and that Kichea is now a bit depressed. You nod respectfully to her, she nods back not pulling her gaze away from you... Man that King really meant a lot to her.
[Respect to Reaper my 3rd ever King. I was attached to him but eventually he had to go (so did my 10GB) I feel bad for retiring him early - he was 5Yrs 11 months. He was my inspo for starting to write lore for my lions. He is special to me as much as he is special to Kichea <3 .]

~~*"Hawk'Cub wake up!" Clover'cub nudged Hawk'Cub awake. "Huh?" Hawk'Cub yawned, "The cave is on fire!" Clover'Cub yelled, fear reflecting in his ocean blue eyes as his fur stood on edge "Quick we need to get out!" Clover'cub ran past the fire, his fast nature got him out the cave. Hawk'Cub scrambled to her paws as the fire raged and roared around her. The sour smoke made Hawk'Cub's nostrils ache in pain as she sped through the cave. As she made her way to the exit a tree collapse Infront of her, blocking her path. "I cant get out" Hawk'Cub coughed as the smoke filled her little lungs. Feeling faint and seeing only blurs, Hawk'Cub didn't believe this was the end. She ran towards the tree trying to push it out the way as the cave slowly became swallowed by the flames. Hawk'Cub coughed, gasping for air before collapsing onto the ash-filled floor.*~~

"Kichea are you alright? You Seem in shock" Reaper nuzzled Kichea's fur. "Yes yes I'm fine.." She purred trying to forget the horrid memories that haunted her. "Is it... That..again?" Reaper asked. "Yes. It seems my immortality came with a downside.." Kichea looked up at the stars.

A week later..

~~*"Hawk'Cub?... Hawk'Cub.. oh my stars.." Hawk'Cub's eyes slowly opened, unaware of what was happening. "Hawk'Cub!" Dove'Wing groomed Hawk'Kit's ash-covered fur as Hawk'Kit's Eyes adjusted to the light. "What's all this commotion about?" King Chaos Snarled looking down at the cub as though she was a rotten rat. "This scrawny thing is the center of attention?" His claws dug into the sand. "Don't call my cub a scrawny little thing!" Dove'Wing growled. The other lions gasped, Hawk'Cub's heart raced. She had so many questions. King chaos's Hungry eyes stared at the lioness. He let out a roar that sent shivers down Hawk'Cub's spine. Dove'Wing leaped forward digging her claws into King Chaos's fur but unable to bite his neck due to his massive mane. King Chaos threw the lioness off, Dove'Wing tumbled in the sand as King Chaos slashed Dove'Wing's side, leaving behind a huge gash. "MUM!" Hawk'Cub yelped as King Chaos watched as Dove'Wing bled to death. The other lionesses took a step back afraid of what King Chaos will do next. He turned to Hawk'Cub as Hawk'Cub ran towards her mother. "This is what happens when you argue with the mighty King Chaos" He Snarled at the other lionesses, flexing his wings as Hawk'Cub silently cried into her mother's fur.~~*

"Kichea are you thinking about your past again?" Reaper brushed his tail under Kichea's chin as he walked by. "I'm forced to. It's like the stars are punishing me for not doing anything about my mother.." Kichea shuddered at the memory of the body. Why did she remember it so clearly if it was years ago? "It wasn't your fault. Dove'Wing wanted to protect you. It wasn't your fault." Reaper stretched, the chains on his body clattered as he moved. Kichea fell silent as the sun rose over the horizon.

~~* Clover'Cub sat silently next to Hawk'Cub as she mourned the death of her mother. "It's a miracle your still alive" Clover'Cub whispered as streams of tears fell down Hawk'Kit's cheeks. Clover'Cub fell silent as Hawk'Cub sobbed silently. "Hey guys!" Fox'Cub trotted happily to the two of them "We need to help repair the pride.." His voice trailed off as Hawk'Cub's sobs became louder Clover'Cub gave him a threatening stare. Fox'Cub shrugged and trotted back to the cave Clover'Cub got up and followed Fox'Cub, giving Hawk'Cub a worried look. Hawk'Cub dug her head into Dove'Wing's fur and sobbed trying to drown out the noise. Heavy Pawsteps thundered behind her as King Chaos walked towards the cub. "Get over it you little weakling" He growled "Everyone will die eventually, except me of course" King Chaos nudged Hawk'Cub with his muzzle and trailed off towards the cave where the fire started. Hawk'Cub stuck her tongue out at him as he walked thurther away.

Kichea jolted awake, frantically looking around the cave. The other royal lionesses were fast asleep. She noticed Reaper was sleeping near the entrance. Kichea neatly folded her wings, and closed her eyes trying to fall asleep again.

Hawk'Cub stood up and walked away from her mother's body. She wanted to help the pride but she didn't want to see King Chaos either. Hawk'Cub thought for a moment before trotting toward the cave, the walls were pitch-black from the ash as a few lionesses tried to clean them. Sticks and rocks were scattered across the floor making the cave seem messy. Hawk'Cub leaned forward and picked up a stick, carrying it outside the cave. She went back inside the cave looking around. Everything looked different than it had before the fire, the prey stash was still there but the meat inside was burnt to a crisp. Realising that she was starving, Hawk'Cub walked towards a burnt zebra carcass and started to chew on the meat.

Kichea suddenly spat the piece of zebra she was eating out her mouth, the other royal lions all stared at her. Kichea nervously dragged the piece of carcass toward her and chewed on it. The other lions carried on chatting to eachother as Kichea tried to get rid of the taste of burnt meat. Madi giggled "Another one of those daydreams?" Madi turned to Kichea. Kichea turned the other way "not just a daydream" Kichea snarled to herself. "Pardon?" Madi looked at Kichea. "Nothing" Kichea replied tucking her wings closer to her. Madi shrugged and carried on telling her story Kichea got up and left the cave.
