Biography
LW’s pride: 2022-02-15 18:53:42 💖
My second Leopon, and first living in this pride! Gift of Mrs. Shannon
^ "Hello lovely, you absolutely deserve this girl! <3 Lol, she has fallen in love with your sweet heart and insists on getting to know you better! Please accept her, you're a fabulous and wonderful woman and you absolutely deserve her! It's the least I can do to show how much I care about you!"

Shahrzad derives from the Persian (Fārsi) "šahr āzād," meaning "free city." Scheherazade is a legendary Persian queen and the storyteller of One Thousand and One Nights. Similarly, this name is derived from a retelling of said story through the life of Shahrzad in Webtoon’s hit series, The Wrath and The Dawn. The Caliph, Khalid, marries a new woman each night and has her killed by the next sunrise. Shahrzad, planning to get revenge for her best friend that passed away in this manner, manages to stay alive by telling stories and promising to finish the next night, but she never does. They end up falling for each other, and she discovers this is not because he is a cold-blooded killer as everyone makes him out to be, but, in fact, was cursed to see many people of his kingdom die due to a curse placed upon him sealed in blood; this, in turn, she helps find a way to destroy and rid him of the life bound to bloodshed.

I often struggle with having to let go of people to rid myself of toxicity. Call it survivor’s guilt or longing for a reality I thought I had versus what was reality, in the same way, in stories I have always found my strongest sense of self. The Bible’s Savior has shaped me into who I am in faith today, and other stories have helped me as well. This story in particular has a quote that reads, “A shared history does not entitle you to a future, my friend. Like shooting stars, some things exist in our lives for but a brief moment, and we must let them go on to light another sky.”

Thank you for letting Shazi light my sky now as she once lit yours. May through darkness the stars always beam and bring you sweet dreams, my sweet friend. Our friendship will only end once her sun sets for the last time (and her eyes reflect that sky so it never will). 💖

8.1.2022) You greeted *Shahrzad in passing, but she seemed embarrassed to say hi. She seemed to be desperately hiding some brambles caught in her fur from you.
