Biography
Banshee is someone who values family and loyalty above all else. They have a tough exterior and can come across as rude, but underneath that exterior lies a soft spot for children and loved ones. Their emotions run deep, and they are quick to show their anger or aggression when they feel someone they care about is threatened. At the end of the day, they're a fiercely protective and caring individual who would do anything for the people they care about.

Shes the lead mentor and teaches all the mentors. She also specializes in attack.

I was born under the shade of an ancient acacia, my mother's gentle purrs the first sounds to greet me in the dawning light of our wild world. Our pride was a small one, wary but free, roaming the edges of human territories, always cautious. I learned early the softness of grass beneath my paws and the endless azure stretch of the sky above. Those days were brief; our world, although filled with beauty, was also shadowed by danger.

I remember little of the day when everything changed. The chaos of shouts, the sharp sting of a tranquilizer dart, and then darkness. When I awoke, the sky was gone, replaced by cold bars and the stench of fear. I was barely more than a cub. They called it trafficking. I learned that word later. To me, it was a series of cages, faces, and rough hands that pulled me from one dark place to another.

The black market was a place of shadows and screams. Humans, those creatures with their strange smells and harsh sounds, they poked and prodded at me. I grew, not just in size but in fury. They took everything from me: my family, my freedom, my peace. All that remained was to fight, for the humans found joy in our pain, pitting us against each other in battles for their entertainment.

I was not always Banshee. That name was given to me later, earned in the blood-soaked pits where I fought for my life. They armored me in black metal spiked with cruelty, a grim harness that clung to my body, transforming me into a creature of war. My opponents were like me, twisted by human hands, each a grotesque mirror of what we could have been in another life.

With every fight, my rage grew, but so did my sorrow. With each opponent I felled, I let out a high-pitched screech, a sound so filled with pain and defiance that it chilled even the human onlookers. It was not a roar; it was a lament. I cried for them, for myself, for all of us lost to this dark underworld.

In those moments, I felt the spirits of the lions I defeated. They whispered to me of grasslands untouched and skies unmarred by the shadow of human greed. They told me of a time when lions would rise and the human yoke would be thrown off. These spirits, they guided me, strengthened me, and slowly, I became more than just a fighter. I became a symbol.

The humans, in their ignorance, thought the armor made me theirs, but it became my strength. The spikes no longer bound me; they were my declaration of war against those who had turned us into monsters. Each scar, each patch of fur matted with blood, was a testament to my resolve.

----------Chapter 1--------------

Under the harsh glare of the arena lights, I faced off against Revna, a lion whose reputation preceded him. His stature was imposing, his mane a dark cascade of shadow framing piercing eyes that bore into mine with unwavering intensity. It was clear from the outset that this would be no ordinary bout.

The air crackled with anticipation as we circled each other, the tension palpable like a living thing between us. Revna moved with a fluid grace that belied his size, his muscles coiled with the potential for deadly force. I matched his movements step for step, my senses heightened to a razor's edge as I prepared for the onslaught to come.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Revna's voice was smooth as silk, laced with a hint of amusement. "I must say, Banshee, you're looking positively ferocious today."

I narrowed my eyes at him, my jaw set in a grim line. "Save your charm for someone who's impressed, Revna," I retorted, my voice a low growl. "You'll find I'm not one for idle banter."

Revna chuckled, the sound rolling like thunder through the arena. "Ah, but where's the fun in that?" he replied, his grin widening. "A little flirting never hurt anyone, especially not in the heat of battle."

I bristled at his words, my patience wearing thin. "This is not a game, Revna," I snapped, my tone icy. "We fight for our lives here, not for your amusement."

Revna's grin faltered slightly, replaced by a more somber expression. "Fair enough, Banshee," he conceded, his voice taking on a more serious tone. "But let's not forget why we're here. We both know what's at stake."

I nodded curtly, my gaze never leaving his. "Indeed we do," I replied, my voice firm. "And rest assured, I intend to win."

Revna's grin returned, though it was tinged with a hint of challenge. "We'll see about that, Banshee," he said, his eyes sparkling with determination. "But win or lose, I can't say I'm not enjoying the show."

With that, the signal sounded. We launched ourselves at each other with primal fury, our roars reverberating off the arena walls in a deafening cacophony. Blow after blow rained down as we grappled and fought, each of us seeking to gain the upper hand in this deadly dance of combat.

But Revna was unlike any opponent I had faced before. His movements were calculated, his strikes precise, and his defenses impenetrable. Despite my best efforts, I found myself unable to gain the advantage, each of my attacks met with a countermeasure that left me reeling.

As the battle raged on, I felt a growing sense of respect for Revna, a warrior whose skill and determination matched my own. It was a rare thing to find an opponent who could push me to my limits, and in Revna, I had found a true equal.

As the dust settled and the echoes of our battle faded into the stillness of the arena, we found ourselves locked in a stalemate, neither of us able to claim victory. With a silent nod of acknowledgment, we parted ways, knowing that our fate would be decided in the rematch scheduled for a week later.
