Protected by Gafru, and trained by Strolt, this loveably cuddlybug lulled the hearts of many of the wandering shamans. Lovebug came into the Indus territory in a time of great transition. Historia was in the process of setting up a protected hoard, guarded by her most esteemed companions. Lovebug also arrived just in time to witness tragedy strike the Indus territory. Many cubs within the Indus died from leopard predation. Among these cubs were the offspring of Historia herself.

Having already killed two of her litter, sired by Dinaris, the hoopoe shaman was left with only Inpat. Inpat and Lovebug met in the training grounds of the Indus, when Morella escorted her out of her father's lands. Both Inpat and Lovebug hit it off quickly, being the same age. And it was around this time that 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕞𝕒 entered the training grounds as well. Like Lovebug, Thema was also a travelling lioness. She served as their older sister figure for several days, before Gafru was appointed broodmother over the trio by Historia herself. Having not achieved immortal ascension yet, Gafru was an elderly rebellious hyena, cursed into this form by the lands of the Indus. She cuffed the cubs and snarled regularly in displeasure when they misbehaved. But the cubs themselves adored cuddling against her coat as they slept underneath the Savannah skies.

However, in a fit of amphrodisian anger, Historia charged the small family in the middle of the night and threatened harm on the cubs. Gafru peformed her duties as broodmother and fended off Historia while Inpat, Lovebug, and Thema ran into the thicket. After the situation was dealt with, Inpat told Thema and lovebug about her family. She told Lovebug that Historia and her father, Dinaris, fought regularly over the ownership of her. And it upset inpat that Historia would separate her from her friends, father, or Gafru. Lovebug comforted Inpat with a cuddle, and offered to take her home to her father's lands. And Inpat would have gone with her. If not for what happened next.

Inpat, Lovebug, and Thema went to the Indus training grounds with Strolt the very next day. Lovebug was excited to practice sparring to learn how to fight like Broodmother Gafru, and whilst training, Lovebug found an eager cub from the giving tree. Lovebug also found a pretty rock. But much like a scene of some peppy dad picking up their child from daycare, her father came for her. Before she could explain that Inpat was coming too, Historia entered the scene and roared at Kæm to leave. Inpat, Thema, and Lovebug were forced to exchange a wordless glance of goodbye, before Kæm picked up Lovebug and carried her deep into the thicket.
