You were napping, but some movement caught your attention. Gonbay Gin was coming towards you with a gerbil snack, but then she stopped. Walked away. Came back. Now she looks like she wanted to bolt. You closed your eyes and pretended to be asleep still, and she finally delivered her gift to you.
While you were trying to enjoy a nap, Gon For A Pun bounced around excitedly, asking you to take her on an adventure. You growled at her to let you sleep for a couple more hours, to which Gon For A Pun huffed and mumbled something about how lazy lions are. You would have batted at her, if you weren't so tired. X2
Gon For A Pun seemed down today. When you asked her what was wrong, she looked up at you with sadness in her eyes and asked why everyone treats her so differently.x2
Happy but intimidated by your attention, Gonbay Gin greets you shyly, then backs away to give you some space.
Gonbay Gin noticed your mane was looking a bit dirty and tangled, so she offered to groom it for you. You quickly declined, saying you'll take care of it later on your own. You still had a bald spot from the last time Gonbay Gin cleaned you with their barbed tongue.
After instructing your lionesses to go out on a hunt, Gonbay Gin walked up to you and looked offended at your inability to hunt your own meal. You explained that the females of the pride are the ones who kill prey and provide for the pride. Gonbay Gin turns up her nose and struts away, muttering under her breath about "useless males" and "outdated societal norms". What? X2
Gon For A Pun prances about with their Grandpaw, head held high. Old Grandpaw Captain Cury III is telling everyone how great Gon For A Pun is, and what a fantastic pride member they'll be when they grow up.
Grandpaw Captain Cury III pulls Gon For A Pun aside to berate them after they misbehaved. You catch bits and pieces of what he says, including "back in my day" and "my mother would have skinned me for that". Never change, old man.
