👑 Queen Eriz 👑

Eriz was the first queen of the pride.

She had run off from her old pride for reasons she did not like to share with anyone. She had spent a year wandering about. One day, when she stopped by a watering hole in the Savanna lands a young king had spotted her.

He had made what to others might seem a pathetic attempt at impressing her, but oddly enough she found him quite charming.

When she had followed the young king, whose name she learned was Kohx, she found an quiet empty den. The only sign that it had been lived in was the scruffy looking nest spot on a small out cropping of rock sticking out on a higher part of the cave.

It had been a stark contrast to her old prides cave. That one had been full of life and cubs, the floors had been dirty with leaves and some fur and there nests of many sizes sprawled about. And the entrance had been just facing away from the spot on the horizon that the sun would rise.

When she had looked over at Kohx he was looking around the cave as well, his ear flicking in what she would learn was a nervous tick he often displayed upon embarrassment.

"It is only myself, bad you now I guess." He looked out behind him to the entrance when the sun was slowly dipping below the hills of the horizon line.

"Well we can build it up together. That is what a pride is after all." She had smiled to him sweetly as she sat to watch the sink away, something she never really stopped to admire before. She thought it was one of the most beautiful things she had seen.

Over the nest 10 or so years she had helped build the pride with her king as his queen, a status she would've never thought to achieve in her life. She had cubs and raised them and the left as most do, she watched the other lionesses who she would come think of as sisters and nieces grow and their cubs stay and join the hunts or depart to seek their own paths as well.
