Obea, Keeper of Secrets

In the book series Wolves of the Beyond by Kathryn Lasky, obeas were the infertile she-wolves that were responsible for abandoning malcadhs on tummfraws. Malcadhs were wolf pups with deformities that were left to die on spots dubbed tummfraws as the pack needed to stay strong and deformities would only breed weaker wolves with more deformities if allowed to live. Obeas were feared by mothers of malcadhs for this reason. If malcadh's survived, they could return to the pack as a gnaw wolf but were treated terribly as the lowest in the pack. Obea, the Secret Keeper, is named after obeas for this reason.

Obea, the Secret Keeper, is a strong but infertile lioness. She has become somewhat of an outcast in the pride due to her secretive nature but she is respected and somewhat feared.

When you come to greet her, Obea, Keeper of Secrets quickly gets up, shuffling her paws on the ground to hide something she drew with her claw.
Looking for a while, you find Obea, Keeper of Secrets sitting between large rocks, away from the rest of the pride. She greets you warmly, though.
