Buchra hasn't led an easy life - she escaped being killed on the takeover of her father's pride by the skin of her teeth, and witnessed the deaths of all her siblings. Roaming the plains as an untried adolescent, Buchra found herself captured and under the leadership of the most despicable king she'd ever known. She lives her life now in chains, feeling an odd sistership with the other captured lionesses of the pride, of whom she is currently the oldest. The Pride was recently taken by a younger male, and Buchra for a moment had hope of freedom, but the new King is as much a tyrant as his once-rival, and has been keen to continue his predecessor's ways.
