A proud follower and queen of Kasstor, Selara begged him to use his powers to make her look more like him. In response to her loyalty (as well as out of his obsession with her) he gifted her with permanent ice fangs to help her hunt. Although these fangs give her an advantage in hunting, they have made her entire mouth cold and she has lost the ability to taste. Every time kasstor kills another lion or cub she is heartbroken but he quickly convinces her that it is for the greater good of the pride. She in turn has become a beacon of peace, from her ability to convince those who have lost loved ones that their death was justified.
