Sunset is the keeper of one of the last warm places in the fang peaks, the hot springs. Here lions come to decompress and sometimes slander the frozen king. Kasstor never comes here as it is too warm for him. For some of the more tortured lions, the hotsprings are one of the last things keeping them from leaving the fang peaks. She has a secret inner circle of lionesses she conspires with to keep the previous king's bloodline alive, so that one day a true king will return to them. Sunset has born cubs for Kasstor, but her real love is the battered and bruised true prince: Lyallur. All cubs she has had with the prince have been hidden and then abandoned as soon as they could survive on their own. She is the only reason Lyallur has stayed in the fang peaks.
