You see a dark red lioness slip out of Siltstar's den. Her blank white eyes gaze through everything but she seems to know you are there. She smiles and asks you out of nowhere if you want to race. What? Okay, sure? Racing a blind lioness? This'll be easy.
She beats you.
Siltstar's childhood best friend and her lifelong partner. Best friends with Winterbreeze and Mistystep. Active, upbeat, and loving. Determination burns in her soul. Enemies with Cobratail.
Served under Bigstar's, Siltstar's, Bluestar's, and Rainstar's leaderships.
Mentor: Bigstar.
Apprentices: N/A
Sharpfang seems to have memory issues regarding her accident.
"Cobratail had something to do with Sunsetpaw's disapearance. I saw her while I was solo hunting today. She seemed afraid and wouldn't really talk to me but she told me to keep Cobra far from her. She look scared. I can't let her become leader or influence the cubs. Smokefeather luckily has my back and we will do whatever it takes to keep her from doing more harm. I just wish Bigstar hadn't relaxed about her so much." - Sharpfang
"Today was an awful day. Cloudpaw came running to me whilst I was training Nightpaw. She informed me to get back to camp as soon as possible. Sharpfang had gotten struck in both of her eyes during a hunting trip. No one saw it happen. Odd. I won't get answers until Sharpfang wakes up. Goldenfur and Paintedsky are watching her right now. Sharp will need me more than ever... I feel numb. Winterbreeze promised she would help me care for her while I am training Nightpaw." - Smokefeather/Siltstar.
Siltstar's best friend and mate for life. Sharpfang thought Siltstar becoming leader would be a good thing. Keeping away lions like Cobratail who may have bad intentions. However, Sharpfang never could have expected the way it effected Siltstar's mind later. As Siltstar fell into madness with her unstoppable desire to fight off any intruder, Sharpfang grew quiet and withdrew from most of the pride aside from her fellow mates. She tried her best to talk to Siltstar but it was pointless. No amount of love or comfort could bring back the old Siltstar.
"The stars don't shine on me anymore. They have fallen silent." Siltstar rasped quietly to Sharpfang, "I have been rejected."
Bluehail, Shrikesong, and Paintedsky were the first members of the group of lions that wanted to take down Siltstar. They later recruited Bluehails mother, and her sisters and her apprentices. They managed to recruit Cloudwing, and Hyenalaugh too as well as a few other members. Not all joined though and a fight broke out in camp between both parties. The other party being led by Cobratail of all lions. Siltstar returned and saw the fighting and declared that they will not fight amongst themselves. Bluehail and the rebels gave Siltstar an ultimatum, step down or be forced to be removed. Sharpfang desperately pleaded to not do that but no one listened. Siltstar says that if they are to survive, pacifism was not always the answer. Siltstar was not going to let Clearpool's fire be snuffed out. Cobratail then lunged at Bluehail and attempted to kill her with a dangerous slash to the next. Clearpool then broke out into civil war and the resumed their fighting. As blood began to spill, Siltstar desperately roared to stop the fighting but it was useless.
Siltstar was then chased away by some Bluehail's group. Siltstar ran to a tall rock on one end of the clear pool to try and get away. Shrikesong took lead in the chase and began to climb up after her. Sharpfang and Winterbreeze ran together and stood from afar to watch the fighting. Not that Sharpfang could WATCH it but y'know. Shrikesong screamed and the fighting lions below looked over to watch the scene unfold. Sharpfang heard a loud splash and she wondered outloud what that was. Icestrike gasped, "Siltstar and Cobratail fell into the water!" Sharpfang roared as she ran to the edge of the clear pool. Winterbreeze managed to grab her by her scruff and hold her back. Sharpfang snarled that their mate was in there. The clan gathered at the edge with Bluehail in the front. They searched the water for any sign of life. Blood then began to flow to the surface as Cobratail emerged and began to paddle away from the clan. Shrikesong yelled out the truth about Bigstar's death. Cobratail pulled herself out of the water and began to run away into the forest. Bluehail roared for the clan to chase her down. Many warriors stopped their fighting and took off after Cobratail. The others stayed behind at the edge. Siltstar's mates and former friends grieved when they realized she wasn't coming back. All this bloodshed was for nothing.
Sharpfang grieved heavily for the death of Siltstar and the truth about her mentor's death. She and Winterbreeze went into the Elder's den after Winterbreeze gave birth to Siltstar's last cubs. Sharpfang at least had the satisfaction of knowing that her and Siltstar were right about Cobratail this entire time.
Sharpfang lived through the dust storm event. She was cautious of the returning senior warriors that had travelled with Bluestar. She didn't need her eyes to know that something was wrong. She had formerly been a proud mother figure to Rainglow, but when he returned, she sensed something different about him. Rainstar tried to plead to her that everything he was doing was for the greater good and that he was still the same 'Rainpaw'. Sharpfang responded that Siltstar thought that too but it only brought her death. Winterbreeze one night had urged Sharpfang to gather some of her things and they would flee to Talonstar's clan. Winter lost her footing outside of the cave and tumbled to her death. Sharpfang was horrified but she retreated quietly and pretended she didn't know about Winterbreeze's death so that Rainstar didn't suspect that they were trying to leave.
After Bluestar's death, Sharpfang had called Rainstar to a meeting spot on the rocks in front of the clear pool. Sharpfang told him that he needed to tread carefully. Power consumes the mind easily. Rainstar claimed that his power was under his control and he knew how to use it to better the clan. They would be stronger than ever. Sharpfang tells him that strength isn't everything. He must be mindful of all those who live under his paws. Would he consider her strong? She was blind. Rainstar told her that she was one of the strongest lions of the pride and her injuries came about from a hunt gone wrong. She received them from trying to feed her clan. Sharpfang than asked him about those that were born weaker. What about them? Rainstar responds that he would make them strong. Sharpfang sighed and stated that she hopes she won't leave the clan in a state of despair. He told her that Clearpool wasn't going anywhere any time soon. It would be here in these lands for a very long time and he would make sure of that. Sharpfang sighed and hoped he was right. Rainstar jokingly told her that her depressive words were ruining his groove. Sharpfang just chuckled lightly before she laid her head on her paws. Rainstar gazed up at the sky for a while but he tried to tell her something again. He noticed then, that she had stopped breathing.
