Fawn

Fawn, along with Akari, is being trained to take over for the pride matriarch, Flicker, once she passes. Currently, Fawn has taken over most of the duties of supervising and caring for the youngest cubs, as Flicker can no longer keep up with them.

As Flicker aged, Fawn took over more duties until she managed half of what Flicker used to while Akari took over the other half. Fawn taught, supervised and managed both cubs and brood mothers. Attended to both pregnant and nursing lionesses. She was a decent hunter but she enjoyed the more delicate work even more. As kind and gentle as Fawn was, she was plenty capable of standing up for herself and her pride to the old king, Minnowstorm. As he aged, he became more and more belligerent.

Years after Flicker's death, when Akari and Fawn began to age, they each took on an apprentice. Fawn chose Harvest, an unruly but exceptionally bright young lioness who had many ideas to improve life in the pride. Akari chose Candid, a Feisty but kind young lioness with a knack for hunting and defense.

Finally, Minnowstorm passed the reins to his heir, Hallowed Soul, or Hallow to his friends. Hallow was a much kinder king than the previous one, and since he was young, he needed quite a bit of Guidance from his matriarchs. Fawn, who had taught and taken care of him as a cub, found it effortless to kindly give advice to the young king.

Fawn did her best to finish both Candid and Harvest's training before she settled down to retire, knowing that this would be the last winter she would see. Harvest dutifully took over all roles pertaining to cubs and brood mothers. While Candid took over all hunting duties.
