Bellum was born with endless potential. As the eldest cub of the new king, Impietas, she was destined to be the new lead huntress, and started her training even before she was fully weaned.
However, tragedy struck. During the month in which the poachers are most active, Bellum was caught in a poacher's trap, and while she survived, she was left with a horrid scars are her paws and on her jaw, impeding the strength of her bite.
Impietas could see that Bellum would never be able to handle the role of lead huntress, and thus, assigned the role to her younger sister, Impera. Bellum was ashamed, not only for herself, but also for her mother, as Sol's only cub. To try and regain her honor, she challenged Impera for her role, but lost the battle, and an eye.
Resigned to serving as a brood-mother and protector of cubs, Bellum rots away in the dens, unable to escape the circumstances that humans awarded her with. Once she grew to be an adult and had her first litter of cubs, Impietas felt sorry for her, and allowed her to move to the royal den, as she is his eldest daughter. She is honored as the oldest of his cubs, but sees little benefit from it, besides a warmer den.

After her father's passing, Bellum helped the other lionesses adjust to the loss of the royal's den, and though it angered others, she saw it as a good thing. Though she is not a shaman, she is still one of Caligula's most beloved queens.

interactions: As you walk into her sight, Bellum proudly gets up to strut in front of you, showing off her sleek fur.
Bellum seemed to be trying to get your attention. As you approached, you see that she had lined up several meerkat carcasses neatly on the ground. She smiles and awaits your praise.
