Soft whispers seemed to follow an older lioness as she moved through her day to day activities, though it seemed that none of the whispers came from her pridemates, nor did they come from the three young cubs she was in charge of.

Indeed, these whispers did not come from any living being... instead, they were the whisperings of the spirits that had attached themselves to Zachriel when she had come of age. Even the beautiful and kind Tefnut seemed to have given a portion of her memory to the lioness, shortly joined by the spirits of a koala and a kangaroo, who whispered about their fate to Zachriel, who then relayed the information to her pridemates in hopes of at least making sure that no other innocent lives suffered like they did.

In her older age now, more spirits had come to join, though these ones no longer had a form to call their own, and instead appeared as small twinkles and swirls of light. It seemed like these new spirits might have been the spirits of passed on cubs, as they appeared to like playing with the pride's living cubs.
