The Asphodel meadows are a place of monochrome. Dreary, lifeless, and claustrophobic. They say that the color has been drained, all leading back to the Heavens, showering the new cubs with life. Yet, there are other rumors that the life source of souls goes to a deity unknown to many, one who lurks, watching and patiently waiting for souls who have lived an ordinary life to grant just a bit more power to her paws... Musical Inspiration: The Beach - The Neighborhood (slowed) Notes: While Asphodel herself doesn't have an equivalent god/goddess, I consider her to be an amalgamation of the underworld and those who rule over it according to the Ancient Greeks. She has a sort of "dying light" to her, sort of like a sunset? I wanted to take inspiration from that and create someone who gains their life and personality from others, being a sort of blank slate that is slowly being drawn on. Her color palette is more muted tones that could fit into a sunset. Corresponding Deity: An amalgamation of other chthonic deities and the Asphodel Meadows.
