You pounce on Funny in greeting, and her laughter echoed across the pride lands. You bet even the hyenas heard that... ah well.

Funny is one of the few lions who came into the pride as an adult, and she had a bit of a difficult time adjusting because of it. Every lion her age had been part of Irey's pride for much longer than she had, and every lion who shared her inexperience in the environment was still a cub. She's not sure why Irey kept her here when he'd brought hundreds of wild lionesses in for a nice meal and a comfortable night's sleep before sending them on their way. Her name makes her doubt that it was because she was pretty. She tries not to think too hard about it.

In an attempt to make sure nobody can ever forget her face or her voice, Funny is a distinctly unsubtle lion. It's earned her a lot of friends, at the annoyance of many others, and Hunting Party 3 is likely the most tightly knit subgroup within Irey's pride. Her closest friend of all is her party-mate Rudy, who's not much younger than her and came into the pride under similar circumstances. Rudy isn't as rowdy as Funny, and is hesitant to put a paw out of line despite Irey's general leniency, but they balance each other out, especially with the lioness Sammy. You don't make it to 8 years old having a 100% success rate without some form of camaraderie. Delighted laughter from three lions, a soft chuckle from one, and the forced silence of another is the first tell that Funny's hunting party has been successful. Making jokes at inappropriate times hasn't made her lose a hunt yet.
