Queen Cerise

Cerise was rescued from abandonment as a cub by Vesuvius and his pride. She was raised alongside Sunkiss as cubs, and they grew very fond of each other, to Vesuvius' dismay. Seeing his son with a mate made his reign feel threatened, and to try to combat the two's relationship, he impregnated Cerise to discourage Sunkiss' adoration. Despite this, after Sunkiss rose to power as King Sunkissed Lake, the two rekindled their love, and Cerise rose to Queenship alongside her husband, who promised to help raise his father's cubs as if they were his own.
Cerise takes great pride in appearances and often adorns her pelt in flowers and other pieces of jewelry. She is a kind, composed lioness and is often seen among the other pride members socializing, destroying what were once strict and enforced social norms from Vesuvius's reign.
