Meridia

Meridia is one of the first few lions to join the Aedraion Pride. She stumbled across Zyldon and Aphion as a young adult while running from her former birth pride. Meridia- as capable as she is to survive on her own- was sporting fresh wounds from her escape, and was exhausted. Without hesitation, the King and Queen took Meridia under their care and helped her heal. While suspicious of their intent at first, the young lionesses was eventually charmed by their good nature. Aphion and Meridia grew close, and soon enough they saw each other not just as fellow pride members, but as friends(Aphion will frequently refer to Meridia as her sister and brag about how graceful she is in all aspects of life, much to Meridia's embarrassment and denial).

Throughout the events Meridia experienced at a young age, she developed the ability to see situations in multiple viewpoints. She will contemplate the problem with logic and experience, not just emotion. From this advantage, Zyldon saw the balance Meridia could bring to the pride in helping Aphion make difficult decisions. Thus, Meridia was appointed as the Queen's Counsel at just 2 years old.
