Ahh back to the swamps, it feels good to leave the demonic atmosphere of hell. Swamps, slops, snakes, sweat.... wait! Snakes ?! Oh no, again ?! This one does seem very aggressive, actually, you wouldn't have seen it if it hadn't tried to bite you.
A green snake in a green world, yep everything around you is green. Except for that lizard. Wow, that's such a nice blue, it's so rare in nature, you have to take a look, afterall, that's why you like to travel right ? To discover new things.
As you approach, focused on the lizard, you realize there is a lion right behind it, just few inches in front of you. You jump back and hardly stop yourself from letting out the most shameful scream you have ever let out. Why is this lioness green ? It's not fair of course you can't see her if she's green ! Who would expect a green lion hiding in the swamps ?? Anyway, you should talk to her.
'Hi, I-I..., I was just... I was just looking at the lizard and...'
Dytiscus lets out a slight laugh before she speaks 'I'm sorry I startled you. You're fine, it's ok, just breath. Take your time.'
You do as she said and take in some air to calm yourself down.
'What are you doing around here ? Are you new ?' She asks.
'I was looking for you actually.' you admit. 'I have a message, it's from your mother.'
You deliver the message her mother wanted you to say and suddenly, Dytiscus' expression drastically changes. She tells you her father was scared of Duliticola's power and he feared even more for their daughter's safety so he chose to hide her here, in the moisty soil of the swamps where the fiery demon couldn't reach her. She thanks you for the message and promises she will get in touch with her mother soon. To thank you, she offers to point you towards the forbidden lands. 'If you are brave enough to venture there.' she adds snickering.
