Day/Month #1: Azul was found by Paradise, a submale on patrol of the territory. He seemed charmed by her striking orange markings and awkward little mouse. Hearing her plans of adventure he invited her back to his pride, loosing the fact that he wasn’t in charge in eagerness to meet the new lioness. During the walk back Paradise struck up a conversation and they seemed to hit it off, continuing the conversation all the way back to the pride.
Arriving at the pride all the cubs and lionesses gathered around, curious about the stranger. Soon enough Osi, the pride leader, heard the commotion. A patient leader, he disregarded Paradise’s mistake and offered Azul a place to stay for as long as she needed.
Azul was popular with all the pride members, especially the Broodmothers who enjoyed the new company and her assistance with the cubs. Though, with the cubs was hardly where you’d ever find Azul. Instead, she’d mostly be found with Paradise, the two lion’s chatting away, sharing food, or simply resting together in silence. Though not even they knew it, by the end of the month Azul was expecting Paradise’s cubs. (The cubs are not actually Paradises since he’s a sub male, HOWEVER I did find the closed stud marking wise so let’s just all pretend, okay?)

Day/Month #2,3&4: All the broodmothers quickly figured out that Azul was pregnant and were the ones to tell her. Azul was pretty upset. She really didn’t want cubs yet and while she really liked Paradise, she wasn’t ready to give up her life of adventure. After almost a month of thinking it over she shared the new with Paradise, who was happy! Until Azul said she wasn’t staying. She said she’d stay and have the cubs but after they were born she was leaving with them. Paradise tried to convince her to stay but that only ended up with Azul avoiding Paradise for the rest of her pregnancy.
After the birth of her cubs, two little boys, Azul began to gather her things. One day when Paradise was out patrolling, Azul decided to leave, unsure how to say goodbye to him. Despite the broodmothers trying to convince her to stay longer, let her body recover and cubs grow up and little, in the end they respected her decision and helped her on her way, sending her and her newborn sons away with gentle nuzzles goodbye.
