The sand makes for a warm and soft bed, you note, especially once the tempest sea had finally given you up from its grasp. Salt and debris have entangled themselves deep in your fur; the discomfort of lying stiff proves enough to wake you from your sleep. As you open your eyes and peer around, you notice you are no longer on familiar soil. Great.

Shaking yourself off and rising to your feet, you wearily try to gauge where you might be. The long white sand beaches, only marred by the occasional palm, stretch far in both directions before making gradual turns and disappearing beyond sight. Ahead, a tall forest with broadleaf trees and enormous, foreign plant life looms. The sounds of birds and wildlife unlike any you've heard back home call out to you in a cacophany from within. A deserted island, you conclude, is where you have washed ashore...

... or perhaps not.

Loud footsteps from behind, only somewhat silenced by the sand, greet your ears. As you turn, you find yourself in the shade of a gigantic primal male. His look of... confusion? Worry? You're unsure which it is. Regardless, it's replaced by a contagious beaming smile.

"E komo mai!" He booms. "Welcome to this island, my friend. Be assured, you're in the company of friends."
