Ebony

Ebony was found, lone and abandoned, near the "giving tree." She was but a cub at that point, and was happily brought into the pride by the broodmother. Groyal was acceptant of it, and she found her place. Though she turned out to be quite a feisty and fiery child, even if a little shy...unlike the other cubs in the pride at that time. She was stronger, and maybe even a bit more tempermental. Groyal seemed to appreciate this in her, and she was often brought on hunts with the lionesses to practice when she became an adolescent.

Although a bit snarky, the other pride members seemed to accept her rather easily. Perhaps because they found her to be a bit intimidating. She was strong, and there was something...off about her. A power in her that they couldn't quite put their claw on. That is, until she began sprouting horns at the point of her forehead, and strange purplish flames began to appear on areas of her body.

Although they could not explain what exactly she was, it was clear she was unusual, and had a power that might be threatening. But Groyal seemed to appreciate this power. While others of the pride shyed away from her, he was impressed. She would find her role also as a hunter, and would quickly be seeming to make her spot in the pride.

However, that strength sometimes got to her head. She would often use it to throw her weight around with the other lionesses, and attempting to dominant them. For the most part, it worked, but then she would be quickly humbled by the lazy and messy Peach; who really just wanted a nice nap in the sun before Ebony's annoying fights interrupted. It would always prove an embaressment for her; being pushed back by Peach. She was lazy, messy, and disgustingly sweet; the exact opposite of anyone who might be powerful. And yet, she was stronger than Ebony, and that was enough to dampen her ego.

Though Ebony would not give up...one day, she would be the strongest among them. She had to be.
