Biography
Vidalia came to the pride after finding late king Meiro and late queen Speck attempting to fend off a pack of hyenas. After clearing out most of the pack by herself and chasing the stragglers off, she was invited to the pride to train the other lioness'. The success of Meiro's hunting parties are due to Vidalia's own cunning abilities and her teaching methods. Without her, the pride would have starved during their first winter. Vidalia as she grew old stepped back from hunting herself, and strictly trained cubs to continue on the tradition of her hunting style. Vidalia died protecting a den of cubs from a pack of African wild dogs. She fought them off long enough for the rest of her pride to rescue the cubs, but lost too much blood in the process. She is buried by the watering hole where she liked to spend her free time.
