I’m sure you’re just here to see the territory though.” She sighed and glanced over. “Poor Krios hasn’t been the same after Quok died. We say she died, but Krios refuses to get her head straight. Fogged up real good. If there was some way Quok could come back with Gliokkolsia then Krios would give up anything as she says. You know well enough that lioness will throw away her own cub for Quok, both. Quok and Krios were both our only mutated lionesses in the pride, but now that Quok is gone, it’s just Krios. They both promised they would raise their cubs together, but I’m sure you know how they turned out. The whole pride says how Gliokkolsia couldn’t take Krios because she was so upset about him picking Quok over her. You know that’s all talk though, especially with Deerling and her little gang.” Tash looked at you, holding her gaze as she spoke softly, “even as everything went down for almost a whole year, it’s time to get better. Denie is accepting some new lioness and cubs to grow the pride again. We will stand strong, even without Quok by our side.”
