+Isadora watched Rexus Brutus from a distance, and she was the one to approach him despite being currently mated to another male
+Of course, they were found out. Fortunately for Rexus, he was the victor of the brawl against Isadora's previous mate, leading to Isadora pairing herself with Rexus instead.
+What Isadora didn't quite like about Rexus' situation was that he had a few mates for himself, beyond just lionesses to breed with.
+She would rarely leave his side, and often promised him more sons than the others have provided, seeing as Rexus only has one son at the time - AJax.
+Just as she promised, Isadora birthed more sons compared to that of the other lionesses - particularly the ones Rexus considered to be his true mates. Other than this, it was also her continuing charm that would bring her closer to the Lead Lion. However, Rexus was firm on never having a single Lead Lioness.
+Between the cubs that went separate ways, Isadora had kept one son to herself. Her favored one - Gaius Marius - who she seemingly spoiled more so than any other cub in the pride.
Through secret manipulation, she turned her favored son against his father, telling him he was strong enough to become Lead Lion and overthrow his father when the time was right. The same manipulation would apply to Artemisia, Gaius' half-sister, as Isadora took the young, female cub under her wing after Artemisia felt neglected by her broodmother.
