At last, she arrived at her last trip. She walked in and greeted everyone with a smile on her face. The other pride members were nice showering her with complements about her interesting white pattern and her bright mint eyes. A lioness that had the same mutation as her began to introduce herself “Hello there! My name is Howlite! and im known as the Pride’s Caregiver nice to meet you!” She thought she was nice for an elder with her silly remarks and her cuddliness. They quickly became best friends after getting to know each other. Howlite gave her a tour, showed her the caves, pride members, and lastly dropped her off to meet the leader of this pride.

“Your gonna love him! He might be a little hyperactive and a littleee bloodthirsty, but he’s very caring when you get to know him!” Howlite said reassuring her when they got to the entrance of the leader’s cave. She gave Howlite a smile and thanked her for helping. “No problem! If you need anything i’ll be in the lady’s cave’” Howlite said before patting her on the back and walking away to her cave like she said.

Mint then walked in the cave where the leader was there. She froze when she saw him playing with a dead hyena body. The pride leader then looked up and noticed her. “Who goes there..?” He said with a menacing tone, looking up with his dull brown eyes. Mint told the king that she was a traveler and that she was assigned this pride. “Oh…I’ve never had a traveler in my pride, I guess you can stay, but you can’t be living here rent free..” Mint understood the king’s worry and told him that he doesn’t need to worry. “Alright, sorry about this-.” He said getting up and pushing the corpse away. “Ah I forgot to introduce myself…My name is Kaz¡, im the leader of this pride. All of us here work as one.” He said walking circles around her. “Everyone here pulls their wait or more…. If they don’t they will most likely to be let go” “Don’t worry though you look… er… useful?” Mint tail quickly swished in fear after hearing that but then quickly calmed her nerves. “Since your new around here I won’t assign you something just relax after a couple days i’ll put you to take care of the cubs, a lioness called Lantern will be there to guide you” Kaz¡ said walking out of the cave, Mint quickly followed listening to everything Kaz¡ was saying. “There to all the way over there is my territory, no ones allowed to leave, only hunters, but your going to be a Broodmother so you won’t ever leave unless your going to another pride, but in the condition your in I doubt that” Mint felt offended, but he was right she was getting old and it catching up to her

After chatting with Kaz¡, she went to the lady’s cave to chat with Howlite. When the sky began to darken she laid down next to Howlite thinking how amazing this pride will be. She smiled to herself, snuggled with Howlite, and quickly fell asleep.
